Well: T25S/R38E-34G (USBR #5)
This well is located just west of Hwy 395 and north of Brady’s Café. The hydrograph shows a fairly consistent water level decline of about 0.6 ft/yr in the upper-screened zone (850’-870’) since 1992. Both lower-screened zones (1590’-1610’ and 1960’-1980’) show consistent water level declines of 0.9 ft/yr and 1.0 ft/yr, respectively. The difference is declines between the upper-screened zone and lower-screened zones may be explained by minor influences by recharge, local pumping affects, geologic structure/sedimentation or inadequate well development. Note in September 1999, a decline consistent in all three zones that could be related to a major water extraction event or seismic activity.
